I love motivational quotes and affirmations. I think they’re the perfect tool to snap me out of any mood and remind myself that I need to be positive, think happy and appreciate things. If you’re open to affirmations and positive thinking, it can spark magic!
The last few days, I’ve been feeling really bummed out. There has been a few issues that have bothered me, and when they are things that are out of my control, I feel powerless. And, if you let them get to you, they just snowball.
So, I ended up with 0% productivity and a migraine…being negative is exhausting! At that point, I realised I shouldn’t have let things get to me. Everyone is on their own path and I should pay attention to my own. So I did. And I’m much happier now. Yet, nothing has really changed – those things that bothered me haven’t been resolved, but my perspective has changed.
Today’s quote seems pretty appropriate after my few days under a grey cloud. If we let things bother us, then they will. If we use that energy in a positive manner instead of letting it bring us down, who knows what we can achieve. Some of my most inspirational, creative moments come after deciding to snap out of a bad mood and concentrate on good things! We can’t control everything, but we can control how we see it and how we react…
